How to add a custom field in pivot tables

Often its needed we to add a field that calculated and not comming from the data table.

We can add it to the pivot table by the following way.

First create the data in Excel

now create a pivot table

select a cell in the pivot table

on the pivot table click on the pivot table button-> Formulas-> Custom Field

Add the name of the field and the calculations below it and then click on the add button

Voliait appears as a field in your list, ready to be added as you want.
