How to take amazing sunset pictures
Sunset normally is a fascinating scene, but pretty difficult to take great pictures of the sunset.
Below I will show you some points to consider to convert the normal sunset pictures to amazing sunset pictures.
A clear sky would have made a pretty dull picture adding some buildings and trees enhances the beauty
You need 4 things to take an amazing sunset picture.
1. A sun about to set (give or take 30 min)
2. Camera
3. Clouds or some object like a bridge, tree, building etc
4. Pollution (yes no jokes the red color of the sunset will come from dust pollution)
Point 1. Dont focus the sun, these pictures will be ok but none "WOW", they will be clean but nor impressive.
No pollution makes the sky look so dull, also focus on the sun doesnt make the picture interesting
Point 2. If there are clouds then wait for the sun to set, Colors of the clouds will be amazing after the sun sets, before that it will be mostly white and uninteresting
No clouds makes the sky pretty dull
Point 3. If there are no clouds then focus something in the foreground so that the sun typically hides behind the object, the shadow effect will be amazing.
Clouds make the scene pretty interesting but still additional objects make it even better like the one below
Point 4. Simple Common sense prevails, ie if the sky is more beautiful then you want to draw attention to the sky, else you want to draw attention to the objects.
