I recollect some time back Maharashtra govt made it mandatory to have the names of the shops including malls in Marathi (in addition to English). Those who violated the rule, had their shops / establishments ransacked. Remember the Big Bazar incident in Mumbai or the J.M. Road incident in pune for the same? Some contradictory website which states that its the "MAHARASHTRA TOURISM, The Official Website of Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation, Govt. of India."
